Its strategic location makes “Sara’s Rooms” the perfect place to stay if you want to reach the heart of Rome easily in a few minutes. In fact it is a few steps from Trastevere train station and ten minutes’ walk to the historical city center (about 2 Km to Piazza Venezia); or, if you prefer, you can take tram # 8 at the tram stop just in front of our B&B and reach the city center in a few minutes.
Within walking distance is the traditional quarter of Testaccio, which is a trendy meeting place for visitors who want to experience the lively Roman social life, with its traditional “trattoria” and bars , or its modern restaurants, pubs and clubs ‘à la mode’.
From Fiumicino Airport (‘Leonardo Da Vinci’ Airport)
Take the metro train line FM1 to Trastevere train station. Just outside Trastevere station, take tram # 8 to ‘Argentina’ and request to get off the next stop. Our B&B is within walking distance (about 200 metres) from Trastevere station .
'Sara’s Rooms’ is located at 249 Viale Trastevere, just past a camera shop and a few steps before a pizza place near a bank on the corner.

From Ciampino Airport (G.B. Pastine Airport)
Take bus ‘Terravision’ to ‘Roma Termini’ Station. From there continue, following the directions provided below.
From Termini Train Station (Piazza dei Cinquecento)
Take bus H from one of the platforms in front of the train station and get off nine stops from there at ‘Trastevere/Pascarella’ (it’s a request stop). Cross Viale Trastevere and walk about 20 metres till you reach our B&B at door # 249 on the left handside of the street.

By car: From Exit ‘Roma Est’ of the highway
A24 till you reach the ring road ‘Circonvallazione Tiburtina’ towards EUR-San Giovanni.
Drive on for 1.2 Km till you reach ‘Viale Castrense’
Drive along ‘Viale Castrense’ for about 500 metres, then turn left into ‘Via Caltagirone’
Drive on for 150 metres till you reach a T-junction, turn right into ‘Via La Spezia’ and continue for about 800 metres till you reach ‘Piazzale Appio’.
Turn right driving across the stone arches and drive on for about 700 metres along the left lane of the road till you reach ‘Via Dell’Amba Aradam (at the very beginning of the street you can see ‘San Giovanni Hospital’).
Drive on for about 800 metres, then turn right into ‘Largo delle Vittime del Terrorismo-Largo delle Terme di Cracalla’
Drive all the way along the avenue for 800 metres, then turn left towards ‘Piazza di Porta Capena’. From there keep going till you reach ‘Viale Aventino’ (you will see ‘Circo Massimo’ just before you)
From there, turn left into ‘Viale Aventino’ and drive on for about 50 metres, then turn left into ‘Via del Circo Massimo’
Drive on for about 800 metres till you reach ‘Lungotevere Aventino’, keeping the left lane of the road.
Turn right and then get onto ‘Ponte Palatino’ on your left
Cross the bridge, then turn left into ‘Lungotevere Ripa’
Drive on for about 400 metres till you reach the Arch of ‘Porta Portese’
Drive through the arch, then turn right into ‘Viale delle Mura Portuensi’. Continue for 600 metres till you reach ‘Largo Toja’, then turn right into ‘Via Cesare Pescarella’, where you can park your car in a free-of-charge parking lot. If no parking spaces are available, you can park in a fee-paying car park (‘Autorimessa Trastevere Srl’ Via Cesare Pascarella, 43, Tel. +39 06 581 1350). Our B&B is very close to the carpark (about 30 metres): when you get out of the carpark, turn right into ‘Viale Trastevere, keep walking for about 10 metres: you’ll find ‘Sara’s Rooms’ on your left.
